“Rosenlaui glacier”
special coin
To kick off the year, we released the Rosenlaui glacier bicolour coin. This is the second coin in the “Swiss glaciers” series and pays homage to the glacier in the Bernese Oberland.
SSV special coin
As fitting preparation for the 200th anniversary of the Swiss Shooting Sports Federation (SSV), we released a first SSV special coin to coincide with the 2023 federal field shooting competition. This will be followed by a gold coin in 2024, the actual year of the bicentenary. Shooters who take part in at least three competitions in 2023 will receive the SSV silver coin.
175th anniversary
of the Federal
Constitution
During the Open Federal Mile event on 1 and 2 July, we celebrated the 175th anniversary of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the new “175 Years of the Federal Constitution” special coin together with you and colleagues from across the Federal Administration.
“Klein Matterhorn
cable car” special coin
The “Klein Matterhorn” silver coin is the first in the “Swiss cable cars” trilogy. It also marks the launch of a new series of Swiss special coins made from 999 fine silver. The coins in the “Swiss cable cars” trilogy feature images of major infrastructure projects in the Swiss mountains.
