Matterhorn
2kg edition
On 14 July 2025, it will be 160 years since the first ascent of the Matterhorn. To mark this anniversary, the company CIT, Coin Invest AG, in cooperation with Swissmint, is issuing a silver coin weighing 2 kg.
A silver coin which is worthy of the famous mountain, it weighs 2 kg, measures 140 mm in diameter, is limited to 50 units and is made of the purest 0.9999 silver.
It is captivating, with an exclusive colouration and an impressive relief of 14mm on the front and 5mm on the reverse – made possible through the use of innovative smartminting® technology.
