The third and last special coin in the “Swiss cable cars” series, planned for the second half of 2024, honours the steepest cable car in
the world.

Final coin of the “Swiss cable cars” trilogy
The Schilthornbahn 20XX project foresees a classic aerial tramway between Stechelberg and Mürren, with a capacity of 800 passengers per hour. Freight and luggage logistics are to be fully automated on this line. Above Mürren, Funifor cable cars will provide access to the Birg and Schilthorn stations. The Funifor system boasts high wind stability and enables compact station construction.

A masterpiece of coin design
The obverse of the coin will depict the cable car and the mountain station in impressive detail. The Schilthorn is planned for the reverse.

in three qualities: uncirculated (in a blister pack), proof quality in a presentation case and proof quality in a presentation case with artist’s certificate.
