Review of the auction
51 specimens were sold at the first Swissmint auction on October 26, 2023. The total result of these pieces amounted to more than CHF 550,000. The highest price, CHF 38,000, was achieved by a very rare specimen: CHF 25 2022 B, Bern for the 100th anniversary of the 10-franc Vreneli. The definitive minting took place with the nominal of CHF 50 in a correspondingly larger and heavier design.
