The boutique is located in the heart of the Federal Mint Swissmint in Bern and was opened in March 2024. The latest special coins are presented and offered for sale here. A collection of old special coins is also on display in the boutique.

As soon as visitors cross the threshold, they are immersed in the history of numismatics and Swiss coins. The special coins on display have been created by our designers and tell a fascinating story linked to our country’s culture, famous personalities or significant events.

An exciting interactive experience

The special feature of the Swissmint Boutique is the unique opportunity for customers to interact with the exhibits. Innovative touchscreens are available for this purpose, offering an exciting interactive experience. Visitors can call up information about each coin on these screens and discover every detail of the commemorative coins in a fun way.

Opening of the boutique

The boutique is currently only open during guided tours. Swissmint’s guided tours are free of charge and open to the public. You can register for a suggested date under the following link.
